I have found these Fowler Electronic Calipers (Stainless Steel not plastic) are the best buy for the money, every golf shop should have a set of these. They are great for measuring hosel depth and width, ferrule height and width and shaft tips. These come with Auto Shut Off for saving battery life. Measurements are done in Millimeters and Inches (.000) and has a conversion chart to fractions. Extra battery included
